2024巴黎奥运会徽公布

Thelogoforthe2024OlympicsandParalympics,depictingtheOlympicflamewithinagoldmedal,wasunveiledinhostcityParisonMonday.

21日，2024年奥运会和残奥会徽在主办城市巴黎揭晓，会徽主设计图案为奥运圣火在金牌中熊熊燃烧。

ThecirculardesignwithParis2024inartdecostyle,alsoincorporatesthelipsandoutlineofMarianne,thepersonificationoftheFrenchRepublicsincetherevolutionin1789.

这个圆形设计中还融入了玛丽亚娜女神的嘴唇和轮廓，"巴黎2024"的字样采用了艺术装饰风格。自1789年法国大革命以来，玛丽亚娜女神一直是法兰西共和国的化身。

ForthefirsttimeinthehistoryoftheGames,thesamelogowillbeusedfortheOlympicsandtheParalympics.

这将是奥运史上奥运会和残奥会首次使用相同会徽。

22日，英国首相约翰逊在关于脱欧时间表的投票中受挫。

议会议员以308:322票否决了约翰逊提出的脱欧协议快速立法时间表，约翰逊不得不宣布脱欧草案由此暂停。

投票结束后，约翰逊表示："我必须表达我的失望，因为议会再次投票赞成推迟脱欧，而不是制定一份确保英国能够在10月31日达成脱欧协议的时间表。我们现在面临着进一步的不确定性，欧盟如今必须就如何回应议会的延迟请求做出决定。"

屠呦呦又获联合国大奖

TheUnitedNationsEducational,ScientificandCulturalOrganizationonTuesdayannouncedthatthreescientistsfromChina,theUSandIrelandsharedthe2019UNESCO-,alongwithAmericandoctorCatoLaurencinandProfessorKevinMcGuiganfromIreland,wonthefiftheditionoftheawardfollowingtheir"outstandingscientificresearchprojectsinthelifesciencesthathaveledtoanimprovementinthequalityofhumanlife."

22日，联合国教科文组织(UNESCO)公布2019年度UNESCO-赤道几内亚国际生命科学研究奖获奖名单，3名科学家获奖，分别是中国的屠呦呦教授、美国的加图•洛朗森医生和爱尔兰的凯文•麦奎根教授。三人的获奖原因是他们"杰出的生命科学研究提高了人类生活质量"。今年是该奖项颁发的第五个年头。
